Wedding Rehearsal

Published by Ashley at 2:19 pm under Day-to-Day

We had the wedding rehearsal on Friday night. It was so weird to be practicing for MY wedding, only a few hours away!

I had a bouquet made from leftover bows from the shower gifts. The whole wedding party was there, so we played with the stage configuration. My dad walked me down the aisle toward Matt, and we were both imagining the next day. Bryan, Matt’s dad, gave an overview of his welcome speech. My grandfather gave an overview of the vows and instructions, and just like that, we were walking off for the evening!

Brenda, Matt’s mom, did a great job decorating and organizing the rehearsal dinner. Carino’s catered chicken marsala, and Brenda had a desert buffet with homemade deserts. It was fun to hang out with our family and friends for the evening. Matt gave his groomsmen gifts, and I gave my bridesmaids gifts. Matt’s mom read a poem about parents praying for a wife for their son, and everyone was teary-eyed by the end of it! Everyone was so supportive and excited the whole evening!

After dinner, the wedding party decided to go out to Avalon’s to hang out for a while. It was so good to be able to hang out with our closest friends one last time before the big day!
